November WGW Bring and Buy Stall news

First of all, thank you to everyone who made the April event such a great success. We raised a total of £850.72 for Charity, which was amazing considering the event was relatively quiet, and the money has been sent directly to the Bat Conservation Trust. Thank you so much to all the volunteers who helped, we couldn't have done it without you! This means we have raised £9,458 since we started, and with a bit of luck we'll make it over £10,000 this November.
Apologies for this somewhat late burst of information, but as The Resolution have unfortunately been unable to offer us the function room this year, we have been a bit busy organising another venue! We would like to thank the Resolution for their help and support over the years, and wish them all the best in their new venture.
With the new plans firmly in place, we are pleased to announce that thanks to the generosity of Jo Hampshire, this years Goth Bring and Buy will be held in the Spa Theatre Bar, in the main Spa complex (head down the corridor past the Theatre and its the room at the end). Hours of opening will be Friday 10-5, and Saturday 10-4. All the information you require will be on our website ( http://www.goth-bringandbuy.co.uk/) including a downloadable form for your list. Don't forget to check the rules!
On that subject, because we really don't know what the situation is in terms of space, tables, etc - it's a new venue for us as well as you -  we're going to have to stick to rule 6 (no jewelry) and also cannot take hats, bags, etc - basically anything that would normally be laid out on the tables, as we don't know if we are going to have space to put them anywhere. Hence its clothes ONLY, though we will go out on a limb and say that we'll accept ONE pair of boots or shoes per person.
As always, we are looking for lovely people who are prepared to volunteer, and can offer an hour or more of their time to help. If you can offer even a small amount of time it would be really appreciated, and if you are one of these lovely people please email thegoths@goth-bringandbuy.co.uk and let us know when you are available! Help will especially be appreciated on set up (9-10) and take down (5-6 Friday, 4-5 Saturday) on Friday and Saturday, and of course on Saturday afternoon when everyone picks up their stuff.
Last, but by no means least, please help us spread the news of the new venue far and wide, so that everyone knows where we will be!
Kind regards
The Bring and Buy Team
